Drew Albenesius Assistant to the Director

Drew Albenesius is the Assistant to the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning.
He assists in the scheduling of workshops and events, handles incoming communication, and serves as the first point of contact for visitors to the North Plaza of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Additionally, Drew serves as a Senior Associate Editor of the International Journal of Teaching & Learning in Higher Education, as well as the International Journal of ePortfolio. His role includes editing and formatting articles accepted for publication in order to ensure adherence to APA guidelines.
Drew has lived in Athens for two years, having relocated from South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the College of Charleston. Prior to his position in CTL, Drew worked as an Editor and International Coordinator for Best Lawyers LLC, publisher of Best Lawyers in America. He is an active participant in the local music scene and can usually be found writing songs, playing banjo, or practicing and performing with his folk/bluegrass band. Beyond music, he also enjoys running, cooking, reading and backpacking.
