This workshop will focus on the role of reflective teaching and learning that results from the assessment process. We will highlight the importance of reflective teaching and learning for improvement of student learning outcomes, as well as improved teaching practices. Closing the loop, taking action, and evaluating changes are essential steps in the assessment cycle, but room for reflection of programmatic design are often lost or overlooked in this multi-step process. This workshop will allow practitioners and faculty to contemplate their own academic programs and teaching practices with the hopes of forming an innovative, inclusive, and holistic curricular design. This workshop is open to beginners to advanced practitioners and faculty that participate in the assessment cycle within their academic programs.
