Ashley Jordan Coordinator of Assessment and Faculty Development

Ashley is the Coordinator of Assessment and Faculty Services. Her role is to support faculty in performing student learning outcomes assessment within their academic programs.
Ashley earned her Bachelors in Spanish with a minor in Portuguese from the University of Georgia. During her time as an undergraduate, she participated in an international research project in open educational resources through the Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education at UNICAMP in Campinas, Brazil. She is currently working towards her M.Ed. in Higher Education at the University of Georgia and is a Foreign Language and Area Studies scholarship recipient for the 2016-2017 academic year. Ashley’s research interests include international and comparative education, the philosophy of education, and the relation of markets and states to higher education, particularly the effect transitional economies have on higher education.
Ashley enjoys rock climbing, yoga, cooking, reading, spending time in nature, and propagating succulents. She is also an aspiring botanist.
