Bobby Mitchell Coordinator of Creative Services
Bobby Mitchell currently serves as the Coordinator of Creative Services for the Center for Teaching and Learning.
His responsibilities include defining the scope and nature of each project, assigning team roles, scheduling, facilitating production meetings, providing quality assurance for the life of the project, and meeting project expectations on time and within budget. Bobby earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science in 1996 and a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology in 2003. He enjoys working with educators to promote effective learning through the implementation of technology and innovative pedagogy.
Bobby is currently a member of the Cable Advisory Committee that oversees UGA’s two educational access channels. He is also a member of AECT (Association of Educational Communications and Technology) and CCUMC (Consortium of College and University Media Centers). He has also served on several committees to develop alternative assistance and universal accessibility guidelines for those with disabilities such as the closed captioning for digital media and streaming.
Bobby currently lives in Commerce, Georgia with his wife, Michelle, and their two beautiful children. Michelle is also a graduate of UGA and a certified reading specialist. She serves several area school systems with reading support.
