Checking Your Turning Account Setup

If you've followed all the steps at the TurningPoint for Students page, and you'd like to check your set up, here's how! 

Log into your TurningPoint account. You can do this at account.turningtechnologies.com, or you can do this through eLC by clicking the TurningPoint account creation link in the TurningPoint news item in eLC.

If you see three green checks on your Turning Point dashboard, congratulations! Your account is completely set up. If you are missing any checks, read below to complete your account registration.

(NOTE: If you are only using Responseware, you don't need a device registered in your account)

1. Did you connect your TurningPoint account to eLC?

If your TurningPoint account is connected to eLC, you will see a green check under Learning Management System on your Turning Point dashboard.

If your TurningPoint account is NOT connected to eLC, you will see a gray x under Learning Management system. You need to log into eLC, and click the TurningPoint account creation link in the TurningPoint news item in eLC, and log into your TurningPoint account via that link. You must complete this step in order to connect your device or ResponseWare license to eLC. 

2. Is your TurningPoint license registered?

If your license is registered, you will see a green check under License  on your Turning Point dashboard.

If your license is not registered, you will see a gray check under License  on your Turning Point dashboard. You need to click License, enter your license number and click "Redeem." If you don't have a TurningPoint license, please visit the TurningPoint for Students page and follow the instructions to create an account and purchase a license.

3. Is your clicker device id or ResponseWare id registered?

If your device id is registered, you will see a green check under Learning Management System on your Turning Point dashboard.​

If your device id isn't registered, you will see a gray check under Device on your Turning Point dashboard. You'll need to follow the steps on the TurningPoint for Students page to register your device.
