Authentic assignments engage students in applying knowledge in meaningful and real-world contexts, helping them develop transferable skills to solve disciplinary and real-life problems. This workshop helps faculty unpack the key characteristics of authentic assignments and guides them through individual reflection and group discussion to identify changes that could enhance the authenticity of their selected assignments.
