Feng Li

Coordinator of Teaching Engagement

Feng Li is the Coordinator of Teaching Engagement at the Center for Teaching and Learning, where he supports the implementation of programs and services related to active learning (and related evidence-based teaching methods) by members of UGA’s instructional community.

Feng received his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in STEM Education from the Department of Teaching and Learning / STEM Transformation Institute at Florida International University in 2017. He conducted the postdoctoral research on argument-driven inquiry based science laboratories at East Carolina University and the postdoctoral research on integrated STEM education at Florida International University. He taught STEM teaching methods courses integrated with active learning approaches in various aspects. With 10 years of research and teaching experience, he has expertise in active learning, educational assessments, and identity development. Feng is passionate about promoting learning persistence of students from diverse backgrounds through institutional approaches focusing on active learning, student engagement, and identity development.
