Responsible Use of AI for Teaching & Learning: UGA Community Perspectives

October 22 @ 1:45 pm - 2:45 pm

Who’s more likely to think that it’s okay for students to use AI to generate ideas for a creative project: humanities majors or faculty in Terry College? In Spring 2025 we deployed a survey to the UGA community, investigating perspectives on the use of AI for teaching and learning. Is it responsible for an instructor to use AI to generate feedback on student work? What about a student who might use AI to organize their thinking prior to writing a term paper or summarize a reading? Join us to hear about what we learned, and refine your own perspectives along the way.
