Paul is the Senior Assistant Director of Information Technology at the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). He leads the IT staff in supporting dynamic learning environments across the MLC, SLC, Journalism, Sanford Hall, and the Instructional Plaza.
Aside from those duties, Paul also maintains and develops the variety of information systems used throughout the unit (and campus) and facilitates the use of new and developing technology in a way that is beneficial to the stated goal and mission statement of CTL. As the primary consultant for all technology purchases, Paul equips CTL personnel with the tools they need to successfully lead in instructional pedagogy and classroom support.
Paul’s journey with the CTL spans over two decades. He began at CTL providing IT support in 2003 through Campus Information Technology Partnerships (CITP/EITS), officially joined the CTL team as a Systems Administrator in 2013, and advanced to his current leadership role in 2023.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys Georgia Bulldogs athletics, music, a vinyl album collection habit, lawn maintenance, OrangeTheory workouts, kickboxing, reading, photography, and tea in many different varieties.
