As research on how learning works has advanced over the last several decades, scholars have shifted their focus to a “learner-centered” model for education. With students as the focus and drivers of their own learning, instructors become partners and facilitators, creating learning opportunities for students. In this workshop, we’ll explore the learner-centered framework and the constructivist learning theory that lies behind it.
